On this recording, Corey Bing played guitar, did the vokills and got Bahb Branca on bass, Nate Linehan on drums and Scott Stearns for additional guitars. Fistula's fans are always surprised when they release something because they can't expect nothing from theses guys except something heavy and dirty but it's always different. For this new release, the old school metal influences like Celtic Frost, Hellhammer and Autopsy are really interesting and new from theses guys. It's Brutal, full of hate and old school for sure! It will be a limited edition on Dvd cases.

The JUCIFER's songs on this split are probably the heaviest stuff from this amazing duo. The 4 songs are really different but very heavy, forget the nice voice of the cute girl on the other albums, you'll only find a demented and crazy girl who scream all the way!! This D.I.Y. recording sound will remind you JUCIFER live. SHOW OF BEDLAM from Montréal are also a band led by a demented girl. Can you imagine SAINT-VITUS with JARBOE on vocals? S.O.B. are a heavier version of this crazy proposition. That's the new band from the guys of SEIZED and TOWARD DARKNESS. For fans of MADE OUT OF BABIES and BATTLE OF MICE.

According to Christoffer Jonsson of Sweden's Close-Up magazine, a new, as-yet-unnamed band has been formed featuring Peter Dolving (THE HAUNTED), Jesper Liveröd (NASUM, BURST) and Scott Reeder (KYUSS). No further information is currently available.

Alright,

Since I don't have nearly enough time to respond to the e-mails about "the future of admiral" and since I don't want to play favorites, you ALL get to find out at the same time. August 15th we pack our amps and guitars and head to Wet 'n Dry studios to finally record A Fire to Burn Down the World. Soon after, the album will be packaged and distributed by Shelsmusic.

For those of you who are unaware of the situation the band is in, Daniel Kraus (or to those who knew him, THE Admiral) passed away earlier this year leaving us with one last piece of material, which is A Fire. This is not Buster pt. 2, nor is it ten songs sloppily put together to be forgotten. It's a mammoth of an album. One 30 minute long song, meant to punish you for all the bad things you've done in your bedroom. A Fire is not meant for everyone, but is being released for the one person that had the determination to set this world ablaze before he left it.

As for the aftermath, we are still determining whether we will be playing specific shows that have been offered to us...the main obstacle being funding. We are all honored by the surprising response to Buster, by both the fans and the media.

Finally, as a reminder, ALL of the profits earned from "Buster" and "A Fire to Burn Down the World" will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis fund. As it was, and as it always will be, we hope you find our music most unpleasant.

Almost every girlfriend I've ever had (ask anyone here... they'll confirm I've had a pants-load) has asked me to be better with their friends, family, co-workers, pets, belongings, feelings... you name it... to which my reply has always been, "kiddo... I only know one speed." And that ploy usually works well enough until some Pyramids With Nadja shows up, spoiling everything with his devilishly versatile demeanor and extensive list of notable musician friends...

Let me explain further. This guy Pyramids With Nadja is like a massive collaborative effort between Pyramids, Nadja and a number of otherwise established musicians. His instrumentation might be described as an energized ambient, infused with an intelligent ear for avant-garde metal and an almost indiscernible adherence to a sort of pop sensibility. PWN is the kinda guy who would successfully meld the still unparalleled compositional methodology developed in Pyramids' "s/t" album with Nadja's trademarked dirge-like shoegaze on a record and then chalk up the favorable outcome to the fact that all members of Pyramids (f. coloccia, m. dean, m. kraig, r. loren, d. william) and Nadja (Aidan Baker & Leah Buckereff) perform on all four tracks on the record.

And his friends... His friends are all well-known artists, such as: Simon Raymonde of Cocteau Twins and This Mortal Coil (performs bass on track one and four), Albin Julius of Der Blutharsch (performs vocals on track four), Chris Simpson of Mineral (performs vocals on track two), Colin Marston of Dysrhythmia and Behold the Arctopus (co-produced/engineered track one) and James Plotkin of Khanate, Khlyst, O.L.D. Phantomsmasher (mixed and mastered the entire album). And if that weren't enough I heard he knows Ulver and Lustmord (each band remixed the track, "Into the Silent Waves," for a limited ancillary product) So, how can I, just one man, compete with a dreamboat captained by a crew of such diverse and artful virtuosos like Pyramids With Nadja (drum roll)... I couldn't possibly... because when all is said and done, Pyramids With Nadja is a far more suitable mate for my girlfriend than I could ever be... he's clearly better with friends and family, his creativity exhibits a natural flexibility, and you know what, thats ok... I want her to be happy.
